Very ancient burg between Florence and Rome, easy to reach from the Fabro toll station: perfectly preserved, overlooked by the medieval castle of the ancient 3,000-acre manor. It has long been a strategic place due to its climate and its magnesic-sulfuric water springs.

Historical and archeological remains have been found here, from the Paleolithic and Bronze ages and from the times of the Etruscans and Romans.
